1 · Scale calibration

Drawing scale 1 :

Best: type the ratio printed on the drawing (SCALE 1:100 → 100) and Set 1:N — exact. Or click 📐 Set scale and drag a ruler over a known dimension. After setting, hover-check one dimension if unsure.

2 · Quote areas

▭ Quote area: drag a box over the part you're quoting (one villa / one floor / the sheet). ✏️ Trace area for irregular outlines. Columns are counted per area — anything outside is listed separately. Click an area to select (Delete removes, drag moves), double-click to rename.
Right-drag pans · scroll zooms to the cursor · Z = magnifier.

3 · Column sizes

Click a size to make it active (green ring), then 📍 Mark columns — one click per column. Sizes are width × depth (mm) × formwork height (m). ✎ edits a size (its markers update live). R rotates the selected marker 90°.
Faster: 🔍 Auto-detect proposes a marker on every solid column rectangle it finds, and 🧲 Snap centres each manual click on the column under the cursor.

Set the scale, drag a quote area, pick a column size, then click each column.

Estimating aid only. Column counts and shutter areas are a take-off approximation — the final formwork design, tie pattern and pour rate must be checked by a qualified formwork engineer.
